Advocacy and Legislation

The Maryland Orthopaedic Association represents the interests of orthopaedic surgeons and their patients to Maryland elected officials and agencies and to Federal elected officials and agencies through the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Our public policy positions are determined by our Board of Directors, based on input from MOA members, other groups with shared goals and concerns, and guidance from our team of lobbyists.
